We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee two senior housing communities located in Oakland, California. This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in affordable housing and property management to ensure the smooth operation of both properties. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional service to residents while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations of two senior housing properties, ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee leasing activities, including tenant applications, renewals, and compliance with HUD and LITCH requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and utilize property management software to track financials, tenant information, and operational metrics.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues to uphold property standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident satisfaction and community engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations, including low-income tax credit housing standards.
• Prepare detailed reports on property performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and control expenses to achieve financial goals for both properties.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to manage property repairs and improvements.
• Address resident concerns and complaints promptly, fostering a positive living environment.• Proven experience in property management, preferably within senior or affordable housing.
• Proficiency in property management software and CRM tools.
• Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and low-income tax credit housing programs (LITCH).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing quality service and maintaining compliance standards.
