Job Description

Salary: $103,450 - 197,730 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 4 years of experience in Digital/Technology Product Management, including Strategy/Planning, Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, and Research/Testing.
  • 1 year of experience in Customer Contact Channels within the Insurance or Financial services industry can substitute for 1 year of minimum experience required.
  • Proven capability to effectively develop, present, influence, and communicate business decisions.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology.
Responsibilities:
  • Independently utilize Digital or Technology research, market intelligence, and data-driven insights to pinpoint opportunities, suggest solutions, create and maintain roadmaps, and enhance performance.
  • Assist in translating Digital or Technology product and experience opportunities into actionable initiatives and drive the development of execution strategies.
  • Oversee Digital or Technology product and experience opportunities from conception to market validation by collaborating with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts (Business, UX, Technology, Operations, Marketing, etc.).
  • Create Business Case documents and hypotheses for assessing Digital or Technology product and experience opportunities.
  • Employ data-driven problem-solving methods to analyze and report product and experience performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Generate valuable insights using various tools and resources to identify opportunities for improving Digital or Technology products and experiences.
  • Develop customer relationships to better understand current and future business needs.
  • Prepare engaging presentations and communications to convey complex concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Research and identify industry best practices and trends to enhance the effectiveness of Digital or Technology products.
  • Maintain and apply a growing knowledge of Business, Technology, UX, and relevant processes along with a foundational understanding of Product Management.
  • Ensure risks related to business activities are identified, assessed, monitored, and controlled according to risk and compliance policies.

In the role of Digital/Technical Product Manager I, you will engage in the discovery, delivery, and performance of digital and technology products to enhance the experiences for USAA and our members. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to solve intricate problems and optimize customer experiences with our market offerings. This position also involves designing and implementing multi-platform tech and digital solutions while enhancing existing products to focus on driving key performance indicators.

We support a flexible work environment, requiring you to be in the office four days a week. You may be located in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA, or Tampa, FL. Please note that relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Our compensation for this position ranges from $103,450 to $197,730, with adjustments based on your experience and market data. Employees may qualify for performance-based incentives at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
