Overview Location: Medical Center Office Building (901 7th Ave) Department: Research Operations Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 The Clinical Data Manager I manages all aspects of clinical data. This individual interprets, abstracts, and submits comprehensive, accurate data relating to study subjects by abstracting data as required by the study protocol and/or clinical trial sponsor, verifies and updates all information compiled and enters data into the application in a timely manner, and performs coding of adverse events or other designed medical diagnosis, injury, and/or procedures as directed by protocol, as required. This individual acts as a resource for other research staff evaluating study‑related data. Qualifications HS diploma required 9+ years of combined relevant healthcare experience (degree can be substituted with equivalent clinical healthcare or research experience) Computer proficiency in word processing, Excel, and database systems Data and/or abstracting experience required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to exercise independent judgment with strong analytical capabilities Excellent interpersonal and oral, written, and electronic interpersonal communication skills About Us Cook Children's Health Care System offers a unique approach to caring for children because we are one of the country's leading integrated pediatric health care delivery organizations.
