\n• Work in stepdown unit providing intermediate level patient care
\n• Monitor patients who require more intensive care than general medical floors but less than ICU
\n• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
\n• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
\n• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
\n• Monitor vital signs and patient condition changes
\n• Provide patient and family education
\n• Current RN license required
\n• BLS certification typically required
\n• ACLS certification may be preferred or required
