The Opportunity

Were looking for an experienced and people-focused Operations Manager to lead one of our Food For Now sales offices. Managing a team of up to 20 colleagues, youll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations, from people management and logistics through to compliance, vehicles and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing all sales office colleagues, ensuring effective resourcing, rota planning, holidays and performance management
• Recruiting, developing and motivating your team, including completing PDPs and regular 1-1s
• Managing logistics efficiency, working closely with fleet planners to optimise routes, working hours and customer delivery windows
• Overseeing vehicle safety, legal checks, maintenance, fuel efficiency and accident management
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, employment legislation and company standards at all times

• Full UK driving licence

Food For Now was created in early 2019 and specialises in daily deliveries of short shelf-life products and is going from strength to strength as we can deliver to a wide range of customers with a wide range of products and brands.
