Part-Time Farm Hand Wanted – Palm Beach Gardens, FL
The Blessed Lamb Farm – A Private Alpaca & Donkey Farm and Palm Tree Nursery

We’re looking for a dependable and animal-loving  Farm Hand to join our small team on a beautiful, gated 5-acre Sylvester palm tree farm in Palm Beach Gardens. This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors in a peaceful, safe, scenic environment surrounded by alpacas, llamas, mini donkeys, bunnies, and more. This job primarily consist of working on the farm for maintenance tasks and feeding and taking care of the animals. Must be a jack of all trades and have the ability to get things done.

Schedule & Hours:

• 5 hours per day , 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday)
• Morning Shift: 6 AM–10 AM or 7 AM–11 AM
• Evening Check: 1 hour anytime after 6 PM
• Total: 30–35 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Feed and care for animals daily
• Rake out stalls and maintain clean enclosures
• Refill and clean water containers
• Perform daily health checks on all animals
• Handle maintenance and handyman tasks around the property such as fix gates, repairs, light landscape maintenance. 
• Keep the farm tidy, organized, and running smoothly

Ideal Candidate:

• Loves animals and enjoys being outdoors
• Strong work ethic and reliable – rain or shine
• Handy with tools and able to troubleshoot and fix things
• Has the ability to figure things out and get things done.
• Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
• Has reliable transportation
• Speaks English, Portuguese, or Spanish – all are welcome!

Requirements

• Previous experience in a farm or agricultural setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for various tasks around the farm.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of gardening practices is beneficial.
• A genuine interest in animal care and handling is essential for success in this role.
• Must be a team player with good communication skills.
