Job Description

Salary: $93,770 - 179,240 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science or another quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data/analytics or relevant business experience in the industry of responsibility (e.g., P&C, Bank, Finance); OR an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with at least 2 years of experience in data/analytics or applicable business experience in the respective industry.
• Proficiency in mathematical and statistical methods for making data-driven decisions.
• Intermediate and some advanced skills with data analysis tools, data visualization, and developing analysis queries using SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analytical software, coupled with relevant industry knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize intermediate and advanced analytical knowledge to engage with cross-functional teams, understand business objectives, and shape solution strategies.
• Employ advanced analytical methods to address business challenges of medium to large scale that may impact current or future strategies.
• Implement innovative and quantitative analytical techniques to derive conclusions and form actionable recommendations that drive desired changes.
• Create comprehensive communication materials to present findings effectively to peers and management.
• Use visualization strategies to clarify analysis points for non-technical audiences.
• Identify, collect, and assess necessary data sources to thoroughly analyze the problem and propose a recommended strategy through testing or exploratory data analysis.
• Transform diverse data sources and apply data cleaning methodologies appropriately.
• Document all assumptions, methodologies, and validation processes to facilitate peer reviews and meet compliance standards.
• Be aware of and adopt emerging technologies that could impact scientific methodologies or quantitative analytical approaches in solving problems.
• Clearly present analysis results to influence decision-making, drive business strategy, and identify risks associated with business activities in line with compliance policies.
