About Us:

With a 4.5-star rating, our client's property features exquisite rooms, a renowned on-site restaurant, and versatile event spaces. Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to bring their expertise in hospitality finance and accounting to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for the hotel, including AP/AR, payroll, and ensuring accurate financial management.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage month- and year-end closes, financial statements, and annual audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Cost Management: Perform cost accounting, reconcile accounts, and manage the hotel’s chart of accounts to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Create and manage annual budgets, as well as oversee forecasting processes to support strategic planning for hotel operations, food and beverage, and event spaces.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Finance, the Food & Beverage team, and other hotel departments to align financial practices with business goals.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or hotel operations.
  • Skills: Proficiency with accounting systems and strong Excel skills are required. Experience managing inventory in any industry is a plus.
  • Hospitality Focus: Passion for the hotel industry and experience working with high-end, service-focused teams is highly desirable.
