Job Description
As a barber you are expected to cut hair, create great connections with your clients so they will come back. At Walker’s Prestige Barbershop, we want to help the clients put their best self forward with style because when their vibe is right, their confidence soars and great things happen for you.
job duties include:
- picking up after your station in between clients and at the end of the day.
- cutting and trimming hair according to clients instructions.
- shaving, trimming and shaping clients beards and moustaches.
- washing and conditioning clients hair (if the client would like)
- consulting with clients on their desired hairstyles.
- ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other tools are sanitized after each client.
- styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.
barber requirements:
- high school diploma or GED
- sound knowledge of current hairstyles and trends
- barber's license (not preferred)
- the ability to follow instructions
- the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- excellent communication skills
- exceptional customer service skills.
pay information:
- 50% of the haircut price + tips at the end of the day.
we are looking for part time and full time barbers.
