What You'll Be Doing Operate a front-end loader to move materials safely and efficiently Maintain stockpiles and load customer trucks with accuracy Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance Communicate with dispatch, quality control and plant personnel to ensure high quality is maintained Operate haul trucks, skidsteer, skytrack ,and other mobile equipment as needed Perform plant maintenance, plant cleanup and other duties as required Follow all safety procedures and company policies What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment Strong awareness of safety and environmental standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $23.61 per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Req ID JR10007328 Heidelberg Materials US, Inc.
