Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fitting and welding within an industrial environment, with a strong ability to read and interpret blueprints. This role is essential to ensuring the precision and quality of fabricated components.

• Fit and assemble metal components according to blueprint specifications.
• Perform MIG welding on various materials and structures.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete fabrication tasks.
• Inspect and verify quality and accuracy of welds and fittings.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• 1–3 years of fitting experience in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Skilled in MIG welding techniques.
• Experience using hand and power tools (1–3 years).
• Familiarity with industrial fabrication processes.

• 1–3 years of welding experience beyond MIG (e.g., TIG, Stick).
• Certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.

• Fabrication shop setting within a non-climate controlled facility .
• Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Safety gear and protocols are strictly enforced.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gadsden, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
