S&S Firestone, Inc . is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations at our Shreveport, LA wholesale facility. This role oversees all aspects of warehouse and distribution, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, staff supervision, and coordination with third-party logistics. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all distribution, warehouse operations, material handlers, and third-party logistics.
• Oversee receiving, shipping, inventory, routes, and bin management.
• Ensure productivity, safety, and security of the warehouse location.
• Schedule and coordinate shipping/receiving to optimize efficiency and cut costs.
• Assist and oversee loading/unloading, returns, and shipment documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and issue resolution.
• Supervise warehouse staff: scheduling, training, and performance.
• Enforce safety standards and support monthly safety audits.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• May assume the role of Operations/General Manager in their absence.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices.
• Previous experience supervising and motivating associates
• Computer Skills: Must be familiar with inventory systems, point of sale, word processing, spreadsheets, and general knowledge of internet browsing.
• Valid driver’s license - in good standing
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
• This position requires manual labor, lifting tires up to 150 lbs. Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be willing and able to operate all warehouse related equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical kills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
