Position Details Type: Contract Duration: Long Term Location: Newark, DE / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid: 3 days onsite) Responsibilities Develop high-performance, scalable analytics solutions on the Big Data platform for data collection, storage, and analysis from multiple channels. Design and optimize data processing workflows using Hadoop stack technologies including HDFS, Spark, MapReduce, Yarn, Hive, Sqoop, Impala, Hue, and Oozie. Utilize NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, SingleStore, or HBase for diverse data types and storage needs. Implement near real-time and streaming data solutions to deliver up-to-date information to millions of bank customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system bottlenecks, benchmark performance, and propose solutions to improve efficiency. Define Big Data strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives. Stay updated with emerging Big Data technologies and evaluate new tools for potential integration. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
