\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts with day/night/weekend/holiday rotation schedule
\n• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• One year acute hospital experience as a registered professional nurse required
\n• Two years emergency department experience required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)
\n• New York State RN licensure required
\n• NIHSS certification required
\n• Apply nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in emergency care
\n• Assess patient needs and identify urgent or emergent care priorities
\n• Perform triage using ESI standards for patients of all age groups
\n• Conduct primary and secondary assessments within acceptable timeframes
\n• Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures for life-threatening and routine emergency situations
\n• Document patient assessments and reassess for treatment response or condition changes
\n• Provide patient and family education for diagnostic procedures and discharge instructions
\n• Maintain patient communication boards throughout emergency department stay
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes
