The Studio Photographer (OEM) is a contract role and is responsible for product photography across MotoSport's OEM parts catalog, from Honda to Yamaha and everything in between. This position requires technical photo ability and a critical eye for detail. Primary responsibilities will live with OEM Parts. This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you'll have a big role within a fast-paced team. 

This position will report to the Sr. Director of Merchandise. You will work 100% on-site at Backcountry's Fulfillment center in Christiansburg, VA.

What you bring to the role:

• Photograph OEM parts for MotoSport’s e-commerce site and marketplaces
• Focus styling, lighting, and product details to best showcase products 
• Unpackage and repackage product
• Meet daily/weekly assignments while contributing to internal KPIs 
• Maintain workstation and studio equipment 
• Follow inventory management protocols 
• One-of-a-kind position, will be mostly working solo with direction from management 

What you get to do every day:

• Proven proficiency in digital photography; e-commerce work preferred (please provide portfolio) 
• Understanding of digital cameras, lighting systems, and lightboxes
• Working knowledge of Capture One, Adobe Creative Cloud, Lightroom CC, tethered capture, and OS X 
• Good organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail 
• Self-motivated mentality
• Able to perform a repetitive task with speed and accuracy

Additional Details:

• Pay: $20/hour
• This position is 100% on-site, located inside of the Christiansburg, VA warehouse
• This is a 4 month contract position, with potential to be extended
