Job Overview

Villa Ornamental Iron is a trusted structural steel & ornamental metals fabrication shop with experience in retail, multi-family, industrial, etc. We maintain a very friendly and playful work environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam for accurate estimating and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication.
• Structural steel erection, columns, beams, moment frames, steel fencing, railings, ladders, canopies

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of Experience Required
• Spanish speaking a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
• Excellent negotiation skills for working with contractors and suppliers.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficient in using estimating software such as Bluebeam.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday - Friday
• Work Location: In person
