Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLPA license
• Relevant experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with speech-language pathologists and educational staff
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and related intervention strategies
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering therapeutic services to students
• Implement treatment plans and monitor student progress as outlined by supervising professionals
• Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support students communication needs
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and documentation of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized goals
• Support students in developing effective communication skills across various settings
