Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students during the 2025/2026 school year in Merced, CA. This contract position is tailored for dedicated educators who are passionate about fostering inclusive learning environments and helping students with diverse learning needs succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress.
• Monitoring and assessing student development, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with state and federal special education regulations.
• Creating a supportive and positive classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth and independence.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid teaching credential with certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students across a variety of disabilities.
• Proven ability to design and execute IEPs and differentiated lesson plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
