Two Sigma’s Financial Resource Management Engineering team partners with our Financial Resource Management team to implement the financing and cash management vision required for the future growth of the company. We lay out the foundational infrastructure for portfolio financing and build our next generation margin and cash management platform to manage Two Sigma’s cash portfolios. Our team is searching for an early career Software Engineer with outstanding programming skills to help build-out a scalable investment management post-trade platform. You will be responsible for partnering with collaborators in New York to design, implement and roll out technology solutions to address a wide array of complex business problems, such as increasing financing capacity, reducing counterparty risk, and building a Trade platform for Cash Portfolio Management. You Will Take On The Following Responsibilities Tackle the complex and interesting challenge of solving business problems through software engineering Partner with functional users to understand requirements Work with rest of the team to design and implement solutions that meet the business needs Propose and brainstorm design and architecture ideas towards scalable and extensible solutions Understand, follow and improve the team’s SDLC processes and best practices You Should Possess The Following Qualifications BS/BA in Computer Science, engineering or related field Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2+ years of relevant experience in hands-on large scale software development and architecture preferred Experience with Java; Python with Pandas preferred Ownership mentality partnering with functional counterparts to deliver on business objectives.
