About the Role:
Join Ace Hardware & Home Center as a Small Engine Repair/Sales Associate, where you'll combine your passion for small engines with exceptional customer service. Be part of a dynamic team in Portales, NM, and help our customers keep their equipment running smoothly while providing expert sales advice.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair small engines, including Sthil trimmers & chainsaws
• Assist customers in selecting the right products and accessories for their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and showroom.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new product offerings.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in small engine repair or related field preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical training in small engine repair is a plus.
