Occupational Therapist K-12 School Leave Coverage (Mentor, OH)

Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide leave coverage in a K-12 school setting from the first week of April through May. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in school-based occupational therapy seeking a short-term assignment.

Location:

• Mentor, Ohio

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Duration:

• Contract assignment from early April through May

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and participation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies
• Provide professional recommendations for adaptive equipment and strategies to enhance student engagement and performance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Familiarity with K-12 student developmental needs and educational environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators and families
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during contract duration
