Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
•Lead all phases of proposal preparation including RFP review, document distribution, and bid strategy
•Oversee internal estimating teams, design partners, and pre-bid processes
•Attend and coordinate pre-bid site visits, develop project narratives, and manage compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
•Manage subcontractor/vendor scope development, pricing evaluations, and bid submissions
•Interface with scheduling, legal, and operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions
•Prepare cost breakdowns, bid bonds, insurance certs, and complete turnover packages

Qualifications:
•10+ years in commercial construction, including 3+ years in a stable, long-term role
•Experience leading complex federal, design-build, and self-perform estimates
•Proficiency with estimating software (Sage/Timberline preferred) and On-Screen Takeoff
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Background in mentoring junior estimators is a plus
