Position Overview

We are seeking a certified, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Phlebotomist to perform specimen collections at various client sites. This is a mobile, part-time position ideal for someone who thrives in a flexible, independent working environment and is passionate about healthcare excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages
• Travel to assigned collection sites located across San Diego County.

• Accurately label, document, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and inventory of phlebotomy supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and the internal lab team to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Provide timely updates on collections, drop-offs, and any collection issues or delays.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California CPT-1 License required.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred; new certified phlebotomists with strong training are encouraged to apply.
• Valid drivers license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in the field and traveling within the region.
