Responsibilities The Phlebotomist functions as a laboratory professional who performs specimen collection techniques or specimen collection instructions that include; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience
- Experience working in the clinical setting
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Certification from nationally recognized agency.
