- Schedule: 20 Hours/Week; On-Call Weekend Rotation; Operating Hours 8:00am-5:00pm

- Salary: $58.95 - $86.21 per hour

Responsibilities Assure the appropriate selection, dosing, administering, and dispensing of medication order.
- Review and assess medications order to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems.
- Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate.
- Compound and dispense medication for accurate delivery to patients.
- Provide drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
- Communicate with physician and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
- Oversee technical personnel who assist in the preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of medications and supplies.
- Assist with academic function such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
- May float to provide coverage of pharmacy needs.
- Provide patient counseling efficiently and effectively when required.
Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Maryland Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

- Specialized Clinical Review: Perform clinical verification for chemotherapy and supportive care.
- Interdisciplinary Partnership: Work alongside leading oncologists and nurses to manage toxicities and dose adjustments.
- Patient Impact: Provide personalized counseling for patients starting new treatment cycles.
Requirement
- Education: PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
- Experience: 3 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
- License: Current Maryland Pharmacist License (or active application via reciprocity)
Preferred Qualification
- Experience with Meditech and Mosaiq
- Prior exposure to hematology/oncology
- BCOP or PGY-1 Residency
