Scheduled clinic hours plus call (beeper)
Requirements:
Board certified and Fellowship
Must be licensed in Mississippi or IMLC
PALS certification
Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes
Procedures:
Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
Newborn
Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic)
Intubation (ETT/NT)
Pediatric
Ventilation Management (Acute and Chronic)
UVC, UAC, and Hemodialysis catheter placement
Chest tube insertion
Needle pneumothorax
Decompression
X-ray and EKG interpretation
Suturing minor lacerations
Exchange transfusions
Evaluation & Management of acute volume/BP issues
Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line and PA catheter
Diagnostic/Therapeutic taps:
Lumbar puncture
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Attend High-Risk C-Sections
Assignment Details:
EMR: Cerner
Admissions (about 1 per 24 hours) and rounding
Nursery Level III/NICU
Patients per shift: 3-5
Phone consults: 4
Beds in department: 10
Support staff: 2 RNs and 1 MA
Callback Percentage: 10%
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 14 days
