**Primary City/State:** Phoenix, Arizona **Department Name:** Courier Svcs-Ref Lab **Work Shift:** Evening **Job Category:** Supply Chain Seeling multi-route courier for fulltime, evening position in Phoenix, AZ. **POSITION SUMMARY** Under general supervision, responsible for picking up and transports specimens, reports, and supplies on various routes. Responsible for servicing clients with knowledge of multiple routes. **CORE FUNCTIONS** 1. Provides clients with consistent and high-quality service through effective communication, picking up of laboratory specimens, delivering lab results, supplies and branch lab deposits. Ability to effectively organize reports and supply deliveries to ensure clients' expectations are met. 2. Train new couriers on routes and possess the knowledge and skill to handle multiple routes and duties to include courier, dispatcher and hospital messenger. 3. Operates company vehicle. Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspection, operation the vehicle in a safe and defensive manner by utilizing the principles of the Smith System and order required maintenance. 4. Utilize mobile data terminal to accurately record routine and will call client stops, specimen counts and types. Responsible for updating client route information. Multi Route couriers shall strive for zero missed pick-ups. 5.
