Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, adhering to departmental requirements and state practice standards. Collaborating closely with medical providers and the care team, you will deliver compassionate care following established nursing protocols such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, aligning with our organization's vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients upon admission and with each shift, promptly identifying any changes in condition.
• Execute procedures and monitor patients according to physician orders, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for therapeutic effects, responding swiftly to any adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring they fully understand complex medical information.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting the position.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Diploma in Nursing.
