Shifts: 7a-4p
Must Haves:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have MIL-SPEC connector experience
- Ability to understand electrical drawings
- Maritime industry experience (understanding of marine applications)
Pluses:
- Troubleshooting ship automation systems
- Flexibility for regional travel on other projects/assignments
Day to Day:
- Assesses electrical drawings and schematics pertaining to LCS Naval ships and electrical problems.
- Performing cable, wire, and harness repairs.
- Ensures preventative maintenance is done on ship automation systems.
- Mentors/trains junior-level electricians.
- Champions quality assurance and continuous improvements.
- Performs tasks prescribed by work package procedure, schedule, and quality standards according to the project
- statement of work.
- Complies with all policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Responsible for the proper use, maintenance, and cleanliness of company and customer-furnished equipment
- and facilities.
- Acts as a professional particularly when interacting and communicating with
- customers and industry counterparts.
- Is accountable for timely and accurate expense management including labor charging and material usage.
- Performs other duties as directed by management.
