About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Executive and Professional Search. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for independently identifying and growing business opportunities in critical markets. This role involves directing and building the activities of a practice, with a strong focus on new business development, client retention, and search execution. The Managing Director will be expected to drive strategic marketing and sales plans, ensure the achievement of business and financial goals, and maintain client relationships with leaders in various industries, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and venture capital. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 7 years' of progressive recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a retained search environment. The role requires a proven track record in establishing new clients and selling executive search services, as well as outstanding communication skills. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical recruiting is preferred, or a background in supporting these industries from a functional practice. The ideal candidate will be adept at using MS Word, Excel, and LinkedIn Recruiter, and must be willing to travel 25-30% of the time. The Managing Director will also be responsible for leading a team, fostering a collaborative environment, and influencing the growth and development of the practice.
