Position Summary: The Integrated Logistics Centre Manager oversees the daily operations of the ILC facility to ensure efficiency and productivity. They are responsible for managing various departments, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual performance targets, customer-driven service levels and various regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to support corporate goals, contractual performance targets and continuous improvement.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate different teams to foster collaboration and cross-team learning.
  • Budget Management: Assess and analyze departmental budgets to optimize serviceability and corporate profitability.
  • Employee Motivation: Inspire and motivate employees through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders about company priorities and projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential problems and implement solutions to maximize efficiency and corporate revenue.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with applicable regulatory and safety standards.

Typical Duties:

  • Oversee recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Improve productivity, business processes and efficiency.
  • Manage quality standards.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
  • Examine financial data to improve profitability.
  • Perform quality control and monitor performance activities and contractual KPIs.
  • Train and supervise staff.
  • Enhance customer service quality.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an operations Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness, supply chain, inventory, and operations management.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
