Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focuses on enterprise social impact strategies and supports The Walt Disney Company's (TWDC) goal of being among the most admired companies in the world. Our team is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing the company’s employee engagement (Disney VoluntEARS) program, key campaigns and events across the enterprise. What You Will Do: The Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility will bring purpose to life through meaningful employee engagement programs. In this role you will serve as a vital and strategic thought partner, help drive connection, community and culture by shaping and reimaginging experiences that matter for our employees and cast members, while helping to advance brand reputation. While every day is different, you will support the overarching Disney VoluntEARS program across the enterprise, drive employee engagement across sites and segments and ensure seamless execution of company initiatives, including tentpole events. You will play a significant role in keeping the team on track to meet key milestones, collaborate with stakeholders to inspire action across our workforce, translate data into storytelling opportunities and use key insights to provide strategic recommendations that evolve the program landscape. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responibility. A Day in the Life: Strategic Program Development & Management Provide strategic recommendations that support the development of the employee engagement strategy and aim to increase awareness of the program to internal and external stakeholders Evaluate current and future partnership opportunities, spearhead the development of new proposals and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evolve and expand the current volunteer program offerings Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of employee and tentpole events, and develop detailed event plans (e.g., project plans, timelines, staffing models, run of shows) Serve as project manager to ensure team milestones are met Develop streamlined processes and project management tools to enhance operational efficiency, proactively identifying areas for improvement Establish program and event KPIs and evaluation methods to gather feedback and insights from employee participants and nonprofit partners Lead and develop a team Content Management Manage and maintain a centralized digital asset library, including program decks, templates, toolkits, and visual content, working closely with marcomms teams Partner with internal marketing, communications and legal teams to capture photo and video content during volunteer campaigns and events - highlighting employee participation and amplifying storytelling opportunities Support post-event storytelling with curated visuals and narrative recaps that celebrate employee contributions and impact Creative Development Create compelling, on-brand presentation decks to secure buy-in and deliver post-event reporting Design digital collateral and event assets (flyers, toolkits, etc.) using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Collaborate cross-functionally with brand and communications partners to ensure consistency and creativity in storytelling Data Storytelling & Insights Conduct data analysis and research and uncover actionable insights, using them to inform program decisions and craft compelling narrative decks and storiesTranslate current metrics and feedback into clear, strategic recommendations and offer new and innovative ideas to support evolving the program Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in employee engagement/volunteer program development, internal communications, social impact or related field Strong fluency in storytelling through data – experience using survey results, dashboards and feedback loops to inform strategy Proven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-impact programs and team members simultaneously Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration, program management and campaign and event development and execution Proficient in creative design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) Superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders Collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Project Management certification Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) Experience working in a large, matrixed company or corporate environment Previous Disney experience or working with Disney as a client 1+ years experience in leading a team Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience #DisneyCommsCareers The hiring range for this position in California is $112,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
