Bitzan Jewelers is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Professional. Candidates with jewelry training desired (Registered Jeweler and/or Graduate Gemologist). This is an exciting opportunity to work with the finest engagement/wedding rings, timepieces, and heirloom luxury items while building long-term relationships with discerning clientele.

In this role, you will be cultivating lasting relationships and driving sales to achieve both personal and team goals. You will also be using your gemologist skills to provide customers with accurate and timely jewelry appraisals. Continuous learners who master product/industry knowledge and selling techniques have the ability to increase their income year after year.

$42,000 - $85,000+ yearly

• Sales & Client Relations: Build and maintain a personalized client book, providing a tailored shopping experience for each client. Develop strong relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Product Knowledge: Offer in-depth knowledge of luxury jewelry and designers, stay informed on trends and new arrivals to best serve clients.
• Appraise Jewelry Items – Assess jewelry items under magnification, document findings for valuation for resale, insurance, and estate planning. Analyze gemstones, metals, and craftsmanship. Stay updated on current market prices.
• Customer Service: Provide exemplary service by understanding clients' needs and desires and helping them find the perfect pieces to celebrate special moments.
• Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goals. Demonstrate the ability to drive business through both direct sales and cultivating long-term client relationships.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales associates and management to contribute to a positive, collaborative sales environment.

• Proven experience in luxury retail jewelry sales, Gemological Graduate desired, Registered Jewelers may be considered.
• Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of gemological principles, including grading systems for diamonds and colored stones.
• Proficiency in using gemological tools such as microscopes, refractometers, and spectroscopes.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate assessments/orders.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Possess the ability to think critically to find solutions in selling situations and customer resolution matters.
• Ability to work three Saturdays per month and an adjusted schedule in December.
