We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our clients team. This role will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-claim investigation through trial and appeal. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of litigation procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• 
  Conduct pre-claim investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments
• 
  Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court
• 
  Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and organize case files
• 
  Manage pleadings and discovery indexes
• 
  Prepare and organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices for hearings and trials
• 
  Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
• 
  Gather and analyze relevant information from various sources
• 
  Coordinate with trial teams, clients, and external third parties
• 
  Provide support in settlement negotiations and case resolution
  

Requirements

• 
  Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal
• 
  Strong knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures
• 
  Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
• 
  Proficient in computer applications, case management software, and legal databases
• 
  Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or relevant certification required
  

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
