We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team! You will provide recovery services in group or individual settings at Haven Treatment Center.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of individuals in the residential setting.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals.
3. Provide therapeutic interventions and crisis management as needed.
4. Conduct assessments and diagnoses of mental health conditions.
5. Provide individual, couples, and family therapy.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
8. Stay current with developments in the field through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities

Haven Treatment Center in Vancouver will provide mental health services, educational support and job training to at-risk children in the foster care system. The center will include a residential area for children displaced in the foster care system and trauma beds for victims of child trafficking.
