Salary: $114,080 - 218,030 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be substituted for a degree.
• A minimum of 6 years of software development experience demonstrating significant technical understanding within specific disciplines or technologies.
• At least 4 years of experience in delivering technology solutions throughout all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews.
• Basic understanding of one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
• Proven ability to research technical issues and create innovative solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting applications and systems and effectively addressing production issues.
• Strong articulation of technical challenges and their corresponding solutions.
• Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• I will design, develop, code, and test complex tactical and strategic technical solutions while integrating existing systems and tools in collaboration with engineers or architects within my team and occasionally with other departments.
• I will lead code and design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations and proper planning.
• My role will involve developing complex algorithms to meet business needs.
• I will investigate and resolve complex application and system technical problems as well as production issues by directing troubleshooting efforts of end-to-end solutions.
• I will mentor fellow engineers, supporting their design, development, and maintenance work; I will also review team members’ code.
• I will influence and help shape the future architecture and quality standards in my specific domain, understanding and measuring across the entire solution.
• Identifying system performance issues, including technical debt, and optimizing solutions will be key parts of my responsibilities.
• I will ensure that risks related to business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled following risk and compliance policies and procedures.
