Lab Tech Assistant Job Responsibilities Adhere to CGMP for product processing, assessment, labeling and distribution; evaluate specimens for acceptability per policy. Demonstrate proper techniques for specimen preparation, collection, and disposal according to facility policy; knowledge of special procedures. Process referred and miscellaneous tests per policy; review pending reports and resolve issues. Prioritize STATs and routine specimens per SOPs and manage workflow efficiently. Accurately enter patient demographics into HIS/LIS; confirm prescription completeness. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent.
