NT Concepts is seeking a Junior Java/Python Developer for an exciting data transformation opportunity within our Intel Community. Clearance Clearable US Citizen with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI CI Poly. Location/Flexibility Local to the DC Metro Area, Remote Flexible. Responsibilities Assist in building scalable and maintainable applications and APIs using Java and Python. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code. Support the development of RESTful APIs and microservices to enable secure and efficient system communication. Help integrate third‑party APIs and services. Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL) for data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to define requirements and ensure seamless integration. Contribute to performance optimization and apply security best practices in data handling and API authentication. Assist in implementing cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for cloud‑native solutions and deployments. Help maintain and enhance existing applications and APIs. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience. Security Clearance: U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and/or Python, with exposure to frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, or Django. Understanding of API architectural styles (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) and familiarity with tools like Postman and Swagger UI. Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 10‑15 pounds at times.
