Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide hands-on support and process optimization during a key transitional period. This role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in stabilizing financial operations and improving internal controls.

Scope of Work:

• Oversee all aspects of the monthly close and financial reporting process
• Identify and lead key process improvement initiatives
• Support internal controls and audit readiness
• Partner with cross-border teams across the U.S. and Canada
• Serve as a key finance point of contact for the CFO and leadership team
• Assist in ERP optimization and financial system integration (Intacct preferred)

Ideal Profile:

• 6–10 years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
• Strong background in software or tech-enabled businesses preferred
• Prior experience in private equity-backed environments is a plus
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct is strongly preferred
• Able to work autonomously and remotely with cross-functional stakeholders

• Start: ASAP
• Location: Fully remote (U.S.-based; Texas preferred)

Duration: Interim (duration flexible based on client needs)
