Seeking a Board-Certified Adult or/and Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in the role of

Chief Medical Officer

Since 1902, Summit Oaks Hospital, a 122-bed behavioral health facility, has been providing quality mental health care for youths (5–17) and adults (18 and older) who have been struggling with psychiatric and substance-use issues. The staff at Summit Oaks Hospital is comprised of psychiatrists, nurses, clinicians, and counselors. Our highly skilled and certified professionals are dedicated to providing the individualized treatment needed for patients who want to regain control of their lives.

Position Highlights :

  • Full-time, hospital-employed position.
  • Clinical leadership role which includes an inpatient caseload of 12, and supervision of PMHNPs.
  • Monday-Friday schedule with limited call.
  • Fellowship trained Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist is preferred, Adult trained will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years inpatient experience, leadership experience preferred but not required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program 
  • Board certified in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Licensed to practice in the State of NJ or the ability to obtain a NJ medical license
  • Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
