The ideal candidate will have experience working with various materials and finishes, pay attention to detail, and produce top-quality workmanship. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to use variety of construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily task like: Metal stud framing, blocking, and hanging drywall Millwork and cabinet installation Door, frame, and hardware installation Division 10/Miscellaneous accessories installation Forming concrete Utilize company provided technology for writing work orders, filing expense reports, and logging crew time. Collaborate with other tradespeople and general contractors to ensure timely project completion. Clean and prepare jobsites. Enforce all required Hourigan on-site Safety procedures. Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, attending, and applying safety and health training, and eliminating hazards within your capability and control and the help of safety staff. Qualifications and Experience: Basic understanding of commercial construction means and methods and industry practices. Industry Experience: 1-3+ years preferred. Must be able to transport your own personal/company provided tools Must be able to provide, operate, and maintain construction tools in a safe and proper manner. Willing to learn how to read construction drawings and gain experience with construction management software, specifically Procore and Bluebeam Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Fosters a strong desire to learn, welcomes a new challenge, and values the need to collaborate with all team members.
