Garden Maintenance Crew MemberLocation: Poulsbo, WAHours: Full-time and part-time currently availablePay: DOE, entry level starts at $17Responsibilities:- Assisting with basic garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, watering, and mulching.- Learning proper plant care techniques and procedures under the guidance of experienced gardeners.- Operating and maintaining garden equipment and tools under supervision.- Participating in seasonal cleanup activities and garden preparations.- Providing support to senior staff members during landscape projects and installations.- Communicating effectively with team members and following instructions diligently.- Demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence in all tasks.Position Requirements:- Strong ornamental and PNW weed identification skills ideal but not required.- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.- Can complete physical labor, including bending, lifting, digging, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.- Reliable transportation and punctuality.- Ability to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Friday. Candidates should be prepared for varying shifts, with some days requiring longer hours, particularly during peak season (May-August), and shorter hours in the off-season (Nov-Feb).
