They’re now looking to bring in a Senior / Functional Safety Engineer to support a major new customer in Shanghai.You’ll be joining a dynamic, international team with a start-up spirit, and taking on meaningful work at the cutting edge of chip-level safety and automotive design.What You’ll Be Doing Define, verify, and test safety requirements for semiconductor components Contribute to chip safety architecture in line with ISO 26262 Lead and support safety analyses (DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA, SW-FMEA) Drive verification and testing activities to ensure safety features are implemented properly Develop safety documentation, including manuals and application notes Support customer reviews and assessor audits Collaborate with engineering and product teams across Europe and AsiaWhat we’re looking for: Degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar) Strong experience in Functional Safety (ISO 26262) – 5+ years for senior level, or solid foundation for mid-level Hands-on background in safety analysis methods Understanding of semiconductor development processes Confident communicator with strong written English Fluent Mandarin is essentialWhat’s on offer: A collaborative, forward-thinking team Stock options and competitive salary Flexible hybrid working Opportunities to travel and work on projects shaping the future of mobilityIf you’re looking for a role that blends technical depth with real-world impact, this one’s worth a chat.
