Job Title: Front Desk Agent
Location: Hampton Inn by Hilton - West Lakeside, Nebraska
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Front Office Manager / General Manager

Position Summary:
As a Front Desk Agent at Hampton Inn by Hilton West Lakeside, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a welcoming and efficient check-in and check-out experience. You'll assist with reservations, respond to guest needs, and uphold Hilton's high standards of service and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Perform check-in, check-out, and room assignment processes efficiently
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and handle guest inquiries or requests
• Manage room reservations via phone, online platforms, or walk-ins
• Provide local recommendations, directions, and general information to guests
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate when necessary
• Ensure accuracy in billing and maintain secure handling of cash, credit cards, and confidential information
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams
• Adhere to all hotel policies and Hilton brand standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work independently
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
