Join Our Team as a Forklift Operator
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Thursday 5:00AM – 3:30PM
We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that materials and products will always be in the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
• Operate forklift and /or pallet jacks.
• Package finish product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing , labeling )
• Load Finish product onto truck.
• Unload raw materials from truck.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment for the facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on forklift.
• Cherry Picker experience required.
• Following all safety guidelines for box clamps and forklift.
• Clean and maintain warehouse work areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as forklift operator at least 6 months.
• Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in Cherry Picker.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts.
• Familiarity with pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles.
• High school diploma.
