Event Marketing Coordinator

Do you lie awake at night thinking of new, creative event ideas? Well, this role may be for you! Tailscale is seeking a passionate Event Marketing Coordinator to help support, manage, and execute our event efforts in the UK and Europe. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence at key industry events, driving brand awareness, generating pipeline growth, and contributing to various marketing initiatives. This person will report into our Senior Field Marketing & Events Manager on the Growth Marketing team.

Support and help execute Tailscale's overall event marketing strategy (from large tradeshows to smaller-scale community events) in the UK and Europe

Help to manage all pre-, during-, and post-event logistics including staffing, team travel, printing of materials, and shipping of supplies

Manage and track events budget, expenses, and ROI

Prepare and help to negotiate various event sponsorships and contracts

Work with our creative design agency or our in-house creative team to coordinate the aesthetic of many event materials and manage the production of items

Own UK/EMEA event swag inventory, oversee storage and logistics

Partner with internal teams to identify and help create new event opportunities

Work cross functionally with teams to help drive leads for conferences and events

Research new and creative campaign and incentive ideas and strategies

Work with our ABM team to support logistics for VIP events, meetings, and dinners

Travel to and execute all UK and EMEA trade shows and field programs on behalf of the events team

Travel to the US to assist the events team with large, tentpole events

2-3+ years experience in event coordination or management

Experience in vendor management (e.g., hotels/event venues, production/AV vendors, creative agencies)

Exceptional project management skills, detail-oriented, and ability to think and plan proactively and ahead of schedule

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, solve problems, and adhere to budgets

Ability to thrive and communicate effectively and drive deliverables in a fast-paced, high-performance, remote environment

Creative thinker recognized for generating innovative ideas

A proactive, people-oriented team player with an enthusiastic and outgoing event presence

Graceful under fire, can think quickly on your feet, comfortable with change

Self-starter who can work independently and is willing to travel to support events on-site (up to 25%)

Experience working in a start-up, creative agency, or nonprofit environment

Experience marketing to developers or working at B2B SaaS or cloud companies

Individual offers may vary based on experience and skill set.

60,040 - 75,050 GBP
