Job Description

Location: Beaverton, OR
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried (pay range based on experience)
Language Requirement: Bilingual – English and Spanish

Position Summary:
This is a dynamic position that requires both visibility on the production floor and a strong grasp of corporate-level EHS documentation and compliance. You’ll spend your time engaging with team members at all levels to build a proactive safety culture while also managing the formal side of EHS—regulatory reporting, documentation, and coordination with corporate and external agencies.

Because many of our employees are Spanish-speaking, fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for success in this role.

This is a salaried, full-time position (Monday through Friday), with the flexibility to support both day and night shift teams as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EHS programs through daily floor presence and employee engagement.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate EHS policies and training—bilingually when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Manage documentation for audits, inspections, training, permits, and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Coordinate environmental reporting (air, water, waste, Tier II, Form R, etc.).
  • Collaborate with plant leadership and corporate teams on safety initiatives and reporting.
  • Balance people-focused work with accuracy and attention to administrative detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) – required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field – required
  • CHMM, ASP/CSP, or CIH certification – preferred
  • 3–6 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communicator with ability to engage all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with experience creating and managing EHS documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Work in both office and plant environments
