We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Music teacher to join our exciting team of educators serving students in TK through 8th grade. Our district is home to a thriving and collaborative community of arts educators who are supported by strong district leadership and an engaged parent community. Twin Rivers Unified School District is seeking a passionate and skilled Elementary Music Teacher to join our team and inspire a lifelong love of music in our students! What You’ll Do:

  • Ignite a passion for music by developing and delivering dynamic music instruction that fosters creativity, musical literacy, and an appreciation for diverse musical styles.
  • Cultivate a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and inspired to explore their musical talents.
  • Guide students in developing essential musical skills, including vocal performance, instrumental music (where applicable), music theory, and music appreciation.
  • Create lesson plans that align with district standards and bring music to life for elementary learners.
  • Collaborate with school staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum and enrich the school community through musical performances and events.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate effectively with parents about their child's musical journey.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CA Single Subject Music Credential with English Language Learner authorization OR Multiple Subjects Credential with Supplemental Authorization in Introductory Music with English Language Learner authorization.
  • Valid California Teaching Credential and valid English Language Learner Authorization.
  • Bachelor's degree, including coursework to meet credential requirements and student teaching experience.

Salary & Benefits:

  • $63,947-$124,659 Annually + $2,000 Master's Degree Stipend, $2,000 Doctorate Stipend.
  • $4,500 Hiring Bonus Incentive.
  • Final placement determined upon receipt of official sealed transcripts and verification of prior contracted teaching experience.
  • 186-day work year, Full-Time.
  • School Year: 2025-2026
