EDM Machinist

• Willoughby, OH
• $31-$38.50/hour
• 1 st shift Monday - Friday, 6am - 230pm
• Contract to Hire or Direct Hire Opportunity

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate multiple through wire EDM machines efficiently.
• Interpret design blueprints and set-up sheets to ensure proper set-up of mold details.
• Set-up and program EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality for precision part production.
• Ability to perform operations within very close tolerances.
• Ability to inspect finished products to ensure they meet defined standards and specifications.
• Ability to work with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process.
• Able to operate multiple machinery (Bridgeport, grinders, saws, EDM)
• Collaborate with team members

Skills/Qualifications

• 5+ Years' experience with setting up and programming EDM machines.
• Previous experience in toolmaking or mold making.
• Ability to work and communicate as part of a die making team.
• Basic math and Trigonometry knowledge.
• Detail oriented with strong measuring and inspection skills.
• Must have own tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background screening.
