Job Description

Salary: $93,770 - 179,240 per year Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or a similar quantitative discipline; OR 4 years of related experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data/analytics or relevant functional business experience within the respective industry (e.g., Property & Casualty, Banking, Finance); OR an advanced degree in one of the aforementioned fields with 2 years of experience in data/analytics or relevant functional business experience.
• Proven competency in mathematical and statistical techniques used for fact-based decision-making.
• Intermediate and some advanced skills in data analysis tools, data visualization, developing queries and procedures in SQL, SAS, BI tools, or other analytic software, alongside the ability to connect external insights to business challenges.

Responsibilities:

• I will leverage intermediate and some advanced analytical knowledge to engage in discussions with cross-functional teams, understanding and collaborating on business objectives while influencing solution strategies.
• I will apply advanced analytical techniques to address medium to large-scale business problems, impacting current and future business strategies.
• By utilizing innovative scientific and quantitative analytical methods, I will draw conclusions and provide actionable recommendations to meet business objectives and drive necessary changes.
• I will translate recommendations into communication materials for peer review and present them to colleagues and mid-to-upper level management, using visualization techniques to facilitate understanding for less technical audiences.
• I will identify and gather relevant and quality data sources needed to effectively address problems through exploratory data analysis (EDA) and testing.
• Utilizing various data sources, I will integrate and transform data while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques.
• I will document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and testing thoroughly to aid in peer reviews and compliance requirements.
• I will stay informed on emerging technologies that may influence scientific methodologies and analytical approaches for problem resolution.
• Delivering insights in a manner that conveys understanding, I will influence decision-making and support mid to upper level management, driving business strategy while ensuring effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of risks associated with business activities in accordance with risk and compliance policies.

We offer a competitive compensation range of $93,770 - $179,240, with pay based on experience and market data. Our compensation process is effective in ensuring that we remain competitive. Additional pay incentives may be available based on individual and company performance.
